Katie Herries has been named Director of Donor Engagement for Operation FINALLY HOME, announced Rusty Carroll, Executive Director of Operation FINALLY HOME.
Herries has an extensive background in fundraising with more than 14 years of experience in the political and non-profit sectors raising millions of dollars while working with The Herries Group, LLC, as a fundraising consultant.
The Herries Group developed and delivered personalized and innovative fundraising and donor engagement strategies for their clients, including Operation FINALLY HOME, Texans for Rick Perry, RickPAC, Move Texas Forward, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and Texas Economic Development Corporation plus more.
“We are so fortunate to have Katie join our family as we look to increase the number of homes we build for our military heroes and their families,” Carroll said. “She has a great understanding of what it takes to enhance donor engagement and she has a true passion for our mission.”
Prior to the Herries Group, she spent six years as the finance or deputy finance director for Texans for Rick Perry and Texans for John Cornyn planning and executing strategies and events resulting in millions of dollars being raised for their efforts.
Herries earned her bachelor of arts in journalism and mass communications in 2006 from University of Oklahoma.
